PT Flight Attendant - Oakland, CA [redacted], Inc. is advertising openings in Oakland, California for part-time, on call Flight Attendants. Following training, part-time Flight Attendants will fill-in and supplement the existing flight crew, particularly during holiday seasons. With safety as the number one goal, the Flight Attendant’s responsibility is to ensure the comfort of passengers while delivering friendly, enthusiastic and professional service in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment requiring high energy and constant face-to-face interaction. In addition, the Flight Attendant must be prepared to provide leadership and direction to assist passengers during non-routine operations. JOB QUALIFICATIONS A successful candidate must possess the following qualities, experience and/or understanding: Available to attend a mandatory flight attendant training of up to three (3) weeks Be at least 21 years of age Knowledge of food preparation, presentation and serving techniques preferred Ability to stand, stoop, bend, squat, twist and be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds Positive professional disposition and appearance Strong verbal communication skills that include speaking to large groups as well as individuals Personal integrity, accountability and ability to maintain confidentiality Strong Interpersonal skills that include a positive outlook and sincere concern for others Excellent work ethic and demonstrated ability to act with purpose and urgency
