Position Summary: The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at [redacted] (ENMU) is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of a full-time Instructor and Program Director of Aviation Science, beginning fall 2022. The position is open until filled, with review of applications beginning in November 2021. The full-time teaching appointment includes .25 reassigned time to perform administrative duties as Aviation Science Program Director. ENMU is New Mexico\'s largest regional comprehensive university with a campus in Portales. The university’s Aviation Science program is fully online, and offers Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science degrees in Aviation Science. Nationally, our Aviation Science program has been ranked in the top ten for online Bachelor of Science in Aviation/Aeronautical Science degrees. Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities: Teach Aviation Science courses online. Perform administrative duties for Aviation Science. Implement Aviation Science program assessment. Advise, recruit, and retain students. Provide service to the department, college, and university. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Requirements: Master of Science in Aviation Science, Aeronautical Science, or a related field is required. Teaching experience in web-based instruction and/or distance education is highly desirable. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated teaching ability Demonstrate management skills Demonstrated abilities in working successfully in an academic community. Demonstrated commitment to university and departmental service.
