This opportunity is part-time, as needed, and perhaps the perfect job for a recently retired pilot in the Miami area (but open to all qualified individuals). Successful applicants will attend pilot B737-200 groundschool in Honolulu. Simulator training is accomplished in Miami. Provide seat support when an extra crewmember is needed for training Give initial and recurrent simulator instruction Administer proficiency checks when qualified Requirements Must be a US citizen or have resident alien status (green card) High school diploma or equivalent FAA ATP – airplane multiengine land (English Proficient) B737 Type rating preferred, but not required depending on experience. Current FAA First Class medical certificate NOT required. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, 5-year background check, 10-year criminal history check and security threat assessment. Simulator Instructor Minimums Served for at least 1 year as a B737 Sim Instructor or Check Pilot in a certificate holder’s approved program, or Served for at least 1 year as a PIC or SIC in a turbojet aircraft.
