Description
Our exclusive client, a Flag Carrier Airline in West Africa, is currently undergoing a critical restructuring and is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Commercial Director to lead and implement a strong commercial strategy while enhancing airlines market position, revenue streams and airlines customer base.
Position
Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to increase the airlines revenue streams.
Lead and manage the sales, marketing, and distribution teams to achieve revenue targets and ensure alignment with commercial objectives
Develop pricing and revenue management strategies to optimize yield and maximize profitability
Manage key airline partnerships and negotiate new contracts to support the airlines commercial objectives.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, travel agents, and corporate clients.
Work closely with the airlines executive team to ensure alignment of commercial strategy with overall corporate objectives.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in a senior commercial management role, and in the airline industry preferably
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve revenue targets.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Knowledge of revenue management and pricing strategies.
Experience in managing airline partnerships and negotiating contracts.
Professional and academic qualifications are a plus
Terms
Full-time contract
Salary: Between €96,000 – €120,000 per year NET of local taxes
Annual leave: 30 days per year
