The Chief Pilot is responsible for the professional standards of the flight crews and for implementing and maintaining flight operations policies and procedures in coordination with the Director of Operations. This position will include operating FJC Charter aircraft as well as performing associated office duties.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned as required by management)
Supervises and manages flight crews in coordination with the Director of Operations.
Coordinates in assigning crew to trips.
Assists the Director of Operations in formulating and implementing operations policies and procedures.
Assists with adding and removing aircraft from charter certificate and ensuring that the aircraft are properly equipped for applicable operations.
Ensures proper documentation is onboard all aircraft.
Maintains aircraft and crew profiles with various entities.
Maintains aircraft weight and balance program.
Submits all requested reports regarding flight personnel to the Director of Operations.
Ensures that all flight crew personnel are qualified and current in accordance with Charter Operations Specifications and the Applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
Maintains proficiency as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) – Complies with all FARs, Operations Specifications, Company Policies, and Company Procedures.
Must meet all required qualifications stated in CFR Part 119.71.
