Midwest-based Part 91 corporate flight department, operating two CJ3 aircraft, is currently seeking a Chief Pilot/Co-Captain to manage a three person pilot team. Strong commitment to safety is expected. Candidate must be hard-working, professional, enthusiastic and be able to work in a team environment. Exceptional communication and customer service skills are needed. The pilot will have the ability to fly internationally when required with a current US Passport. Previous corporate \\\'Chief Pilot\\\' experience is highly desired. Citation 525B type rating and experience is preferred. We\\\'re looking to hire the \\\'right person\\\' that can carry on the management duties of the flight department. This position will report directly to the company CEO.
Things to know about the position:
The goal is to hire the \\\'right person\\\' that is \\\'user friendly\\\' who will be able to assume the role as \\\'Chief Pilot\\\' for a long-standing Part 91 flight department. Personality will be important. We are only Part 91 operating two CJ3\\\'s. Pilots average 200 hours per year with scheduled trips from one day up to sometimes 7 days including weekends and some Holidays. Almost no pop-ups for same day departure. Must be flexible as schedules sometimes do change. Easy to travel with is a must. Gets along on the road easily with different personality types and most important, wants to have fun! We try to provide the best QOL in this position and share the wealth when it comes to pilot scheduling, time away, weekends and days off. We all work as a team and share the duties to help keep the planes cleaned, stocked and appropriate navigation charts updated.
