Description
This is a PIC position in a HA-420 Elite II for a [redacted] owner/businessman. It is a full time position in the Opa-Locka area. Candidates must be PIC typed in the HA-420 and current. Single pilot PIC typed is preferred but if not, willing to attend training to become single pilot typed.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Live within an hour of OPF (we will allow a little flexibility on the proximity).
2. Most flights would occur during the weekdays with weekend flights likely planned in advance / with notice provided. There may be some occasional requests for non-scheduled flights for fun / recreation, but these requests would be flexible or low-priority.
3. The dedicated pilot would help track aircraft airworthiness / required inspections, etc. to be a liaison with between owner and MX.
4. A good candidate would be a pilot that is tired of being a fractional or charter road warrior and is seeking a pilot role where he or she is at home more than on the road.
5. Be willing to fly charter on the aircraft when feasible.
6. Be comfortable with a SIC type rated pilot in the right seat.
7. Owner expects to pay a significant owner’s discretionary year-end bonus in addition to their normal comp. This would be subjective based on our general happiness as well as having successful charter outcomes.
8. Full benefits and 401k match or the option to be 1099 if benefits are not needed.
