Summary of Position: To assist AWPC Chief Flight Instructor in supporting of flight training both onsite and at remote training locations. Additionally, provide mentorship to junior company pilots to ensure continuity of company knowledge throughout the department and company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform the following flights as assigned: Training, maintenance, demonstration, and support.
Provide mentorship and training to less experienced company personnel
Ensure personal training is conducted to meet all Company and authority requirements to serve as a company pilot.
Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by AWPC Chief Flight Instructor in support or LH training academies mission.
Qualifications for Position:
Education: BA/BS (Preferred)
Experience:
Minimum fifteen years experience in a similar position with the following recent flight experience
3,000 total flight hours Rotorcraft
1500 Hours in LH aircraft
1,000 hours twin turbine helicopter (3) years at AWPC3
500 hours instrument Actual/Simulated

Expert pilot with strong background in flight training, courseware development, maintenance and safety.
Licensure/Certification:
FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate Rotorcraft preferred; commercial license required with instrument rating.
CFI/CFII - Rotorcraft (Certified Flight Instructor & Certified Instrument Instructor
Valid/Current FAA Class I Medical
Type rated in the AW119, 109, and qualified in at least (1) other LHD aircraft.
