Role Summary
The Manager Inflight Training Administration oversees all administrative functions supporting the flight attendant training programs at [Company]. This leadership role involves providing direction and support to teams responsible for training records, scheduling, and administrative functions. Reporting to the Director of Inflight Training Delivery and Administration, this role ensures the accurate maintenance of training records and the compliance of flight attendant qualifications. Additionally, the Manager plays a critical role in coordinating training and instructor schedules, ensuring all flight attendants meet the requirements set by regulatory agencies and adhere to [Company]â policies and procedures.
Key Duties
Ensure the implementation and execution of all flight attendant structured administrative workflows, documentation standards, and reporting systems to support training operations.
Manage training and scheduling data analysis process and performance metrics to drive improvements, optimize scheduling, and inform strategic decision-making.
Acts as a collaborative consultant to formulate strategies for flight attendant learning and performance improvement. Make training recommendations to Director Inflight Training Development and Standards based on data analysis.
Lead establishes the priorities for the team to plan, coordinate, and execute training projects to enhance instructor processes, training consistency, and operational efficiency quality assurance processes.
Responsible for training records accuracy, approved training record system and to ensure all training record requirements are met.
Leads a team of Inflight Training Schedulers and Coordinators for the administration of training plans, instructor scheduling, and program planning.
Responsible for executing short and medium-range goals for the Inflight Training teams.
Projects and maintains Inflight Training staffing resource needs.
Accountable for instructorsâ monthly bidding and award.
Accountable for flight attendant training scheduling and to ensure adherence of the collective bargaining agreement.
Cultivates relationships with internal partners including the Association of Flight Attendants, and regulatory agencies for development maintenance, approval, and implementation of flight attendant training curricula.
Contributes to the long-term strategy and planning for Inflight Training programs.
Collaborates with Director of Inflight Training Development and Standards for transition AS Inflight training from N&O to AQP.
Shapes culture of the team and beyond through action, presence, and reinforcement of behaviors.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
5 years of experience in inflight training, training standards and compliance, or related area.
2 years of leadership experience.
Bachelorâs degree or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
Demonstrated knowledge of 14CFR Part 121 air carrier operations, approved training programs and inflight operations.
Knowledge of appropriate FAA Advisory Circulars, applicable regulatory guidance and the flight attendant certification processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Must successfully complete Initial New Hire Flight Attendant Training (if not already qualified as an AS Flight Attendant) and maintain certification as a Flight Attendant.
Ability to hold and maintain AS Inflight Instructor qualification.
Requires availability for contact outside of standard working hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Salary Range
$92,650 -- $139,000 / year
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We donât typically hire at the top of the range.
