Citation Sovereign First Officer

Location: Scottsdale Airport (KSDL) – Scottsdale, Arizona

A growing Part 91 corporate flight department is seeking a full-time Citation Sovereign First Officer based at Scottsdale Airport (KSDL). The position supports corporate travel throughout the United States with occasional operations to Canada and Mexico.

Schedule

• Primarily Monday–Friday operations

• Occasional weekends and overnight trips

• Approximately 200–300 flight hours annually

• Flexibility required based on operational needs

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $89,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience

Minimum Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate – Airplane Multi-Engine Land

• Instrument Airplane Rating

• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate

• 1,200 hours total time (1,500 preferred)

• 100 hours turbine time

• Multi-crew turbine experience preferred

• Strong Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills

• Valid U.S. Passport

• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (or ability to obtain)

• Eligible to work in the United States & enter Canada

• Ability to meet company insurance requirements

• Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug/alcohol testing

• Clean FAA record with no violations or enforcement actions

• Ability to lift 50lbs

• Must live within 90-min of the Scottsdale, AZ (KSDL) airport

Preferred Qualifications

• ATP Certificate or ability to obtain

• Part 91 or Part 135 corporate flight experience

• Previous turbine aircraft experience

• FlightSafety or CAE turbojet simulator training history

• Professional customer service skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Professional appearance

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pilot-in-Command in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.

• Conduct flight planning, performance calculations, aircraft inspections, and post-flight duties.

• Maintain compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

• Coordinate with maintenance personnel, scheduling, FBOs, and other operational service providers.

• Assist with routine aircraft servicing and readiness, including fueling, towing, repositioning, stocking, light cleaning, updating navigation systems, hangar duties and general aircraft presentation.

• Ensure the aircraft is properly prepared before each flight and secured following flight operations.

• Deliver a safe, professional, and service-oriented experience for passengers while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

• Perform other duties as assigned in support of safe and efficient flight department operations.

Training Commitment

The successful candidate will receive company-sponsored Citation Sovereign initial training and CE-680 type rating. As a condition of employment, the selected candidate must execute a training reimbursement agreement. The reimbursement obligation is prorated quarterly beginning upon successful completion of initial training. Additional details will be provided during the interview process and with any employment offer.
