Job Title: Lead, Pilot (Gulfstream 550 Pilot in Command - PIC)
Position Location: Richmond, VA
Summary:
Gulfstream 550 Pilot performing as a member of a select team of professional flight crews and maintenance personnel, ensuring operations, training, and safety management goals are met. This position will specifically be responsible as an initial cadre member for standing up Gulfstream 550 flight operations, helping to train current organization pilots in the G550. Adheres to all scheduling, coordinating, training, certification, and qualification requirements. Complies with crew flight and duty time limitations and standard operating procedures. Works in close coordination with the customer to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support outstanding customer service. Position will require on-call responsibilities and occasional short notice travel.
Relocation to 1 HR response time to Richmond, VA International Airport will be required
Employment is conditional on ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance. Will also require eventual type qualification in the Boeing 757.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Must be able to obtain an airport clearance/security badge (FAA).
Must have and maintain Class II FAA Flight Physical (First Class if age 65 or older) and medically able to travel world wide
Current U.S. passport
Valid State Driver’s License
Required Skills
Familiarity or experience with FAA FAR Part 91/121/125/135 preferred.
Must have ATP, with experience in aircraft with MTGW of 74K lbs or greater.
Must have 3,000 total flight hours.
Must have 1,500 Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours
Must have 1,500 multi-engine turbine hours
1000 hrs in G550 specificly
Must be highly skilled, with a high degree of tact and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience with daily interface with customers at numerous levels.
Applicant must possess outstanding organizational skills.
Must be able to read, speak and write English language.
Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 – 75 pounds above the head
When evaluating the flight time of applicants meeting the basic qualifications, consideration will be given to, among other things, quality, quantity, recent experience, and verifiability of training; complexity of aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine powered aircraft. Applicants invited to interview must provide appropriate documentation of all flight hours

Highly desired CFI and or Military instructor pilot.
Current world wide international experience
Other transport category aircraft experience, specifically Boeing 737, 757, 767 highly desired
