Your new role as Head of Flight Operations & Chief Pilot will see you have overall responsibility for Network Aviation flight crew, ensuring the safe and effective operation of our two jet fleets (F100 and A320/319) and operational readiness for growth opportunities.
This is a flying role, and you will be responsible for flight crew and EA management, oversight of Flight Training and all operational matters affecting the safety of flying operations, ensuring that Network Aviation complies with requirements outlined in CAO 82.5. With your safety focused mindset and passion for people leadership, you will also identify opportunities to achieve strategic objectives and drive continuous improvement.
As a member of the Network Executive Team, you will play a broader leadership role within the business and have the freedom to act on behalf of the Network Aviation COO to ensure the safety and integrity of all Flying Operations functions.

You’ll have:
Ability to hold Chief Pilot CASA approval
An existing type rating and valid medical certificate
Extensive flight experience and knowledge of flying operations, previously working in senior management positions
Well versed in the regulations, industry awards and contracts and company requirements that affect fleet operations, training, licensing, and standard operating procedures
Operational expertise of company aircraft and equipment currently operated
Strategic thinker with the ability to understand the ‘big picture’
Exemplary decision-making skills, with the ability to assimilate complex information quickly, weighing up alternatives and making sound, timely decisions
Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives with a proven record of successfully managing change
Demonstrated experience in effective people leadership, including performance management, coaching, mentoring and development
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of stakeholders
