We are seeking a qualified PC-12 pilot for a seasonal Air Attack position supporting the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) and Department of the Interior (DOI) during the 2026 wildfire season, with the potential for long-term employment. This is an opportunity to join a highly professional aviation team supporting some of the most important aerial firefighting missions in the country. The successful candidate will operate the Pilatus PC-12 single-pilot as an Air Attack platform, working alongside Air Tactical Group Supervisors (ATGS) to provide aerial supervision, coordination, and oversight of wildfire suppression activities.
Air Attack aircraft serve as a nationwide resource and are deployed throughout the United States in support of federal wildfire operations. From above the incident, crews coordinate air tanker and helicopter operations, manage airspace, assess fire behavior, relay critical information to ground resources, and help ensure the safe and efficient execution of aerial firefighting missions. Candidates should possess strong IFR and VFR skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, mission-focused environment. This position offers meaningful flying, competitive compensation, and the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role for the right candidate.
