The Role & Key Responsibilities Spectrum Aviation is recruiting a lead pilot to fly and manage their small fleet of two Sky Arrow SEP aircraft. You will fly circa 200 hour per year on aerial survey, equipment test and training tasks, manage aircraft engineering and modification requirements and administer the EASA Part SPO Aviation Management System. You will also manage the rosters and training of three contract pilots You will work closely with the Accountable Manager and Safety Security and Compliance Manager to deliver a safe and efficient aviation function. We are looking for an experienced former military or commercial pilot with supervisory experience, a current CPL / ATPL license and Class 1 medical. Military low level, FI, or aerial survey experience are preferable. The regular place of work will be Peterborough Conington Airfield and our office site in Peterborough. Skills & Experience Skills: Pt FCL CPL as a minimum with current SEP and MEP rating Supervisory and Command experience in a military or civil aviation role FI qualification at SEP or military QFI that can be converted Familiarity with EASA Pt SPO regulations Computer literate Experience of Aerial Survey or Military Reconnaissance or Image Processing Experience: A good leader and follower with excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-reliant and dependable Adaptable to change A problem solver with strong decision-making skills An ability to prioritise to achieve safety, quality and cost objectives A commitment to providing a customer focused service of the highest possible quality About The Company Spectrum Aviation is an aerial survey and informatics company, specialising in agricultural vegetation analysis at scale.
