Now Air is seeking an experienced and motivated Chief Pilot to oversee our pilot group, maintain regulatory compliance, and fly full-time as Pilot in Command (PIC) on our King Air 200 under our Part 135 charter certificate. This is a key leadership role within a rapidly growing aviation company based at Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona.
Key Responsibilities
Pilot Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and manage all company pilots
Oversee pilot hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
Maintain company flying standards, training expectations, and SOPs
Flight Operations
Fly full-time as PIC on the King Air 200
Ensure safe, efficient charter operations and pilot professionalism
Approve duty assignments and verify pilot currency and qualifications
Regulatory Compliance
Serve as the primary liaison with the FAA for pilot and operational matters
Maintain strict adherence to 14 CFR Part 135 and Operations Specifications
Maintain and revise manuals (GOM, Training Manual, SOPs) as required
Training & Check Airman Duties
Oversee initial and recurrent pilot training
Coordinate simulator training, checkrides, line checks, and standardization
Support and strengthen the company’s Safety Management System (SMS)
Qualifications
Meets FAA Chief Pilot requirements under 14 CFR 119.71
ATP Certificate with appropriate category/class ratings
Direct experience in King Air 200 operations strongly preferred
Minimum experience required for PIC under Part 135
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
Previous Chief Pilot or Part 135 management experience preferred
