We are seeking a high-caliber Pilot in Command (PIC) to join our Part 135 charter department. Operating the Hawker 800XP, you will be the face of our company for a discerning clientele. This role requires more than just superior stick-and-rudder skills; it demands a leader who can balance rigorous Part 135 compliance with a commitment to premium service and operational flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Mission Command: Act as Pilot in Command for all assigned flights, ensuring the highest level of safety and operational integrity from pre-flight to post-flight.
Part 135 Compliance: Ensure all operations strictly adhere to FAA Part 135 regulations, Company Operations Specifications (OpSpecs), and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Crew Resource Management (CRM): Lead and mentor the Second in Command (SIC), fostering a professional cockpit environment and adhering to standardized flows.
Operational Planning: Conduct meticulous flight planning, including weather analysis, NOTAM review, weight and balance, and performance calculations for diverse runway environments.
Client Experience: Provide a seamless, "white-glove" travel experience. This includes assisting with luggage, coordinating ground transportation, and maintaining a professional, polished presence at all times.
Technical Readiness: Coordinate with Maintenance and Dispatch to ensure the aircraft is mission-ready, clean, and stocked for every charter leg.
Administrative Diligence: Complete all required Part 135 documentation, flight logs, and expense reports accurately and promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate: Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
Rating: Current HS-125 Type Rating (Hawker 800XP/850XP/900XP).
Medical: Valid FAA First Class Medical.
Experience Thresholds:
Total Flight Time: 3,000+ hours
Total PIC Time: 1,500+ hours
PIC Time in Type: 250+ hours
135 Expertise: Proven experience operating under FAA Part 135 regulations; military or high-utilization corporate background is a plus.
Logistics: Proficiency in Electronic Flight Bags (EFB) (e.g., ForeFlight) and international flight planning.
Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced charter environment.
Availability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as dictated by charter demand.
