A Challenger 350 SIC is responsible for performing duties as a Part 91 aircraft pilot in a safe and efficient manner. This position will include operating the aircraft on behalf of [Company] while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with [Company]’s employees, vendors, and clients. This aircraft currently maintains a routine schedule, planned well in advance, with regular flights to several East Coast destinations. Pop-up flights or short notice changes are very rare, which provides exceptional opportunity for consistent time at home base. The aircraft conducts several 3-5 day trips per month with expected totals of 250-300 flight hours per year.
The Challenger 350 SIC will report directly to the Lead Captain (Aircraft and Crew Manager - ACM).
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Operates [Company] aircraft in a safe and efficient manner while in compliance with all company rules and regulations, manufacturers’ limitations and manuals, governmental rules and regulations, and any other requirements of agencies having jurisdiction over the flight.
- Coordinate with [Company] Flight Dispatch personnel to ensure that the goals and objectives relating to assigned flight operations are achieved and carried out in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Provide unparalleled courtesy, professionalism and customer service to [Company] Charter clients and owners.
- Ensures that Electronic Flight Bag(s) (EFB) are kept current with the latest navigation and application dates.
- Remain knowledgeable relative to the applicable portions of the [Company] Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM).
- Ensure that a proper preflight inspection has been accomplished prior to takeoff including but not limited to the aircraft, its publications, documentation, equipment, passenger service items, fuel, weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports and departure points, customs, permits, and airport/runway suitability.
HERE'S THE TYPE OF PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 2,000 hours total time
- 500 hours PIC
- 250 hours multi-engine.
- 100 hours multi-engine PIC
- 100 hours instrument
- 200 hours turbine
- ATP Written complete
- Previous Part 142 training program completion is highly desired.
- Must have a current and valid Pilot’s Certificate with an English proficient endorsement.
- Must be able to maintain a First Class Medical.
- Must be able to maintain a valid United States Passport.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or have 3-5 years of professional aviation experience.
- Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high stress, fast paced environment.
- Must be willing to live within 2 hours of the McClellan Airfield in Sacramento, CA.
- Must be highly motivated and organized.
