As a Gulfstream G-IV Captain, you will serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC), ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional operation of flights. You’ll support NASA missions and [Company] initiatives, playing a key role in the safety of passengers and the success of every flight.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Gulfstream G-IV missions safely as PIC or SIC, often requiring on-call availability and extended assignments away from home (up to one month).
Stay current with landing and instrument procedures and maintain all required pilot certifications and credentials.
Adhere to NASA contract requirements, including minimum flight hours and pilot currency standards.
Comply with all [Company] policies, demonstrating professionalism in travel, documentation, expense management, and communications.
Exercise responsible stewardship over government- and customer-issued equipment.
Assist with aircraft maintenance, record keeping, engine washing, and general ground support functions.
Support aircraft equipment inventory management and coordinate ground support at both domestic and international locations.
Collaborate across business segments as needed, supporting flight and pilot services company-wide.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and international/domestic airspace procedures.
Perform any additional duties as assigned to support mission and company goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Active Gulfstream G-IV type rating required.
Commercial/Instrument/Multi-Engine pilot certificates and Second-Class Medical.
Minimum flight experience:
1,500 total hours
1,000 hours PIC
750 hours multi-engine
500 hours PIC multi-engine
250 hours PIC in type (G-IV)
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with adaptability to changing schedules and mission requirements.
Experience working in a two-pilot crew setting.
Must pass a comprehensive drug test and criminal background check. (Certain convictions, including DUI/DWI, may disqualify candidates.)
Valid passport required.
FAA A&P license highly preferred.
