First Officer – Challenger 300

Position: Full-Time | Part 91 Corporate Aviation

Position Summary

We are seeking a professional, safety-focused First Officer to join our private Part 91 flight department based in the Las Vegas area. This position supports a high-net-worth principal operating a Challenger 300 throughout North America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Our flight department is small, and every crewmember plays a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and discreet transportation while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the operation, studies aircraft systems, anticipates needs, and works as an equal partner in maintaining a first-class flight department.

This position is best suited for a pilot who views corporate aviation as a profession—not simply a flying job. We value preparation, ownership, initiative, and teamwork as highly as stick-and-rudder skills.

Primary Responsibilities

Flight Operations

• Serve as Second-in-Command (SIC) in the Challenger 300.

• Conduct all flight operations in accordance with company SOPs, FAA regulations, and manufacturer guidance.

• Maintain the highest standards of Crew Resource Management (CRM) and operational discipline.

• Participate in domestic and international flight planning.

• Prepare aircraft performance calculations, weight and balance, weather briefings, NOTAM reviews, and operational paperwork.

• Assist with oceanic, RVSM, CPDLC/FANS, and international procedures.

Flight Department Responsibilities

• Assist with aircraft scheduling and trip planning.

• Coordinate with FBOs, ground handlers, customs agencies, fuel vendors, and international service providers.

• Ensure the aircraft is clean, stocked, and mission-ready for every trip.

• Monitor aircraft discrepancies and coordinate maintenance as directed.

• Make sure hangar is stocked, clean and lobby is ready to accept passengers.

This position requires much more than occupying the right seat.

Minimum Qualifications

• Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating

• FAA First-Class Medical Certificate

• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit

• Valid Passport

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• Ability to travel to Canada

Flight Experience

• 1,500 hours total flight time (minimum)

• 500 hours multi-engine flight time (minimum)

• Turbine experience required

• Corporate aviation experience preferred

• Challenger 300 type rating preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications

• Part 91 corporate aviation experience

• Experience supporting high-net-worth principals

• International operational experience

• Jeppesen flight planning

• ForeFlight proficiency

• Experience operating throughout Europe, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean

Schedule

This position supports an on-demand Part 91 corporate operation. Schedule flexibility is required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended international travel.

Compensation & Benefits Package

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
