[Company](PCJ) is seeking a high-impact Director of Business Development to drive growth across our aircraft management portfolio under Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
This role is for a true closer — a proactive hunter who understands the private aviation landscape, builds trust with high-net-worth clients, and converts opportunities into signed management agreements.
You’ll be directly responsible for expanding PCJ’s managed fleet by identifying, pursuing, and closing new aircraft management contracts.
New Business Acquisition
Generate qualified leads by engaging aircraft owners, family offices, brokers, lenders, and OEMs.
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline through outreach, referrals, and targeted networking.
Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signature.
Facilitate aircraft sales and acquisitions as part of broader management opportunities.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Deliver compelling, data-driven presentations aligned with client goals.
Collaborate with operations, finance, and leadership to build accurate proposals and budgets.
Negotiate and close profitable management agreements that align with company objectives.
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Market Positioning & Brand Representation
Represent PCJ at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
Build strong relationships with brokers, consultants, manufacturers, and other aviation partners.
Serve as a brand ambassador — clearly communicating PCJ’s differentiators and ownership value proposition.
Pipeline Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, opportunities, and activity.
Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to leadership.
Continuously refine strategy based on market data and performance results.
5+ years of proven sales experience in private aviation management or aircraft sales.
Demonstrated success closing high-value contracts or management agreements.
Deep understanding of Part 135 and Part 91 operations, cost models, and ownership structures.
Established network of aircraft owners, brokers, and aviation professionals (strongly preferred).
Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-starter with a strong competitive drive and high accountability.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, or related field preferred.
