The Manager Inflight Experience and Reliability oversees the daily operation of the Inflight Supervisor on Duty (iSOD) team, ensuring a Seriously Nice experience for Flight Attendants, and guests while maintaining operational reliability, compliance, and alignment with labor relations standards. This role leads the iSODs and acts as the primary liaison between Inflight leadership, Crew Services, Flight Operations, Stations, Duty Manager, and Technical Operations to ensure Flight Attendant scheduling, performance, and engagement align with company goals and values. Reporting to the Director Inflight Operations & Engagement , this role ensures the total Flight Attendant experience — from day-of operation through post-event follow-up — reflects Breeze’s commitment to Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
Here’s what you’ll do
Lead and oversee the iSOD team in the IOCC to ensure consistent, high-quality support for Flight Attendants and base operations
Serve as the Inflight operational point of contact for day-of performance, reliability tracking, and flight attendant support
Monitor and analyze reliability data (attendance, fatigue calls, operational delays, etc.) to identify trends and recommend proactive strategies
Partner with Crew Resources, Flight Ops, and Airport Ops to ensure timely resolution of operational disruptions and Flight Attendant reassignments
Lead and support investigations, fact-findings, and corrective actions in collaboration with People Services and Legal Team
Provide guidance, direction, and development to iSods in the IOCC, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to company values
Lead cross-departmental coordination to improve Flight Attendant experience, reliability, and communication flow during irregular operations (IROPs)
Track and report performance metrics to leadership; recommend changes to enhance operational efficiency and Team Member experience
Represent Inflight during operational calls/ significant event calls and collaborate with other departments to uphold safety, compliance, and service standards
Ensure compliance with FAA, DOT, and company policies, and actively participate in safety meetings and emergency response readiness
Foster a culture of care, accountability, and continuous improvement across the Inflight Department

Here’s what you need to be successful
Minimum Qualifications
4-year degree or equal equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant Inflight or operational management experience
3+ years of experience managing a diverse team
Ability to obtain and maintain current [Company] Flight Attendant Certification
Experience working with FAA, DOT and knowledge of FARs and how they apply to daily operations and demonstrated experience in Flight Attendant performance, reliability, or labor relations
Understanding of a Flight Attendants role and daily job duties
Advanced understanding of Company policies/procedures as well as Inflight Performance.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner across multiple functions
Willingness to travel and work varied hours to support operational needs
Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test, TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check, and a Breeze background check
Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Preferred Qualifications
5-8+ years in Inflight leadership or operational reliability management
2+ years of Inflight Experience
Previous experience supporting labor relations Proven record of improving operational performance or reliability metrics
