Opportunity Overview

An aircraft management company is seeking highly qualified Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet contract pilots to support Part 91 flight operations.

This opportunity is limited to pilots who:

• Currently reside in the Lynchburg area

• Have extensive, specific experience in the Cirrus SF50 Vision Jet

• Meet all applicable insurance and operational requirements

• We are seeking 1-2 pilots

Qualified pilots may be added to a contract pilot pool and will work directly with aircraft owners/operators as flying opportunities arise. There are no guaranteed or estimated flight hours; however, opportunities may involve approximately 1–2 flight days per week depending on owner travel requirements.

This is not an employment position. The selected pilot will work as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command for Part 91 operations in the SF50 Vision Jet

• Conduct all flights safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations

• Perform thorough preflight and post-flight inspections

• Maintain accurate flight, duty, and aircraft records as required

• Coordinate with the aircraft owner/operator regarding scheduling, trip planning, and operational considerations

• Maintain all required pilot qualifications, training, and SF50 currency

• Assist with aircraft care and management responsibilities as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Commercial Pilot Certificate or ATP

• SF50 type rating obtained through Cirrus Factory School*

• Minimum 1,200 total flight hours

• Minimum 1,000 hours PIC in retractable-gear aircraft

• Minimum 200 hours in the SF50 Vision Jet

• Successful completion of SF50 recurrent training through Cirrus Factory School within the past 12 months*

• Ability and willingness to maintain personal SF50 currency and recurrent requirements

• Strong attention to detail and safety-focused decision-making

• Must currently reside within 45 minutes of Lynchburg, VA

• Clean driving and aviation history
