Tasks

As Managing Director (m/f/d) you are responsible for the management and development of the company [Company] Aviation Training Austria GmbH (LAT AT) within the strategic orientation of the LAT Group.

You represent the company to customers, business partners, other LH Group partners in Austria and the public.

You will be responsible for the following tasks, among others:

• Ensuring efficient, EASA-compliant, safe and commercially successful LAT training operations at the Vienna site

• Responsibility for the operation and qualification of the FSTD (flight simulators) as Accountable

• Management of infrastructure projects at the site

• Strategic development of LAT AT within the framework of the LAT and LHG Group strategy

• Budget responsibility incl. monitoring of relevant key figures

• Management and development of managers and talents

• Active involvement in shaping Group-wide cooperation within the LAT Group structure

Requirements

In addition to several years of experience in managing and motivating employees, you should have the following:

• Completed studies (Bachelor/Master) with several years of relevant professional experience or comparable skills and knowledge with many years of relevant professional experience

• Several years of management experience

• Knowledge and practical experience in aviation training operations

• Strong communication skills and assertiveness

• Very high customer orientation

• Experience in project management

• Experience in dealing with technically demanding and highly complex issues, problem-solving skills

• Good knowledge of business contexts

• Very good knowledge of English
