Teach primary students in the Vashon Ranger R7 on a predictable membership schedule — consistent students, consistent hours, and modern equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flight and ground instruction to private pilot students following the [Company] syllabus

• Fly recurring lesson blocks with assigned members — the same students, week after week

• Keep student records, endorsements, and training progress current

• Conduct discovery flights and pre-enrollment conversations with prospective students

• Help maintain a safety-first culture: brief thoroughly, debrief honestly, squawk everything

Experience

• FAA Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) required; CFII welcome

• Commercial pilot certificate with current flight review and medical (or BasicMed, as applicable)

• Comfortable teaching in glass-cockpit aircraft — Dynon SkyView HDX experience is a plus, and we’ll get you checked out

• Light-sport, tailwheel, or backcountry experience welcome but not required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Aviation degree or college coursework welcome but not required — certificates and teaching ability matter most
