GENERAL DUTIES
The Developer, Inflight Training will:
Design and develop Instructor-Led Training (ILT) materials, including facilitator guides, participant manuals, presentations, assessments, and scenarios.
Develop Computer-Based Training (CBT) modules using eLearning development tools (iSpring) that are LMS-ready.
Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate technical content related to inflight safety, service procedures, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
Ensure training programs align with FAA regulatory requirements and internal company standards, including periodic updates and recurrent training.
Integrate adult learning theory, instructional design best practices, and multimedia elements to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
Collaborate with LMS administrators to test, upload, and maintain CBT content and track course performance metrics.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, learner feedback, and performance outcomes; revise content as needed based on results and feedback.
Participate in internal audits and FAA inspections, providing training documentation and updates as required.
Maintain version control and documentation of all training materials.
Support special projects and assist with instructor onboarding and development.
Collaborate with leadership to assist LMS administration
Support InFight Ops as needed.
Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates/ Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience developing ILT and/or CBT training in a regulated industry, preferably aviation.
Proficient in eLearning authoring tools (Preferably iSpring) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Familiarity with FAA Part 121 training requirements and documentation standards.
Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred experience in airline inflight operations or cabin crew training.
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) (preferably Mint).
Graphic design and multimedia development experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work in an office setting. Occasionally, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions which may include wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat and cold. When working outside the office, the noise level in the work environment is often loud. Occasional travel may be required (<10%).
