Successful candidates for the PIC position must be experienced in the Piaggio, have extensive Part 135 charter experience and be able to report to Long Island MacArthur Airport (KISP) within two hours driving time. In addition to the above requirements, new pilot hires may be provided with either initial or recurrent training, as appropriate, through approved FAR Part 142 training centers, which will obligate them to a training agreement. Qualified applicants will be pre-screened prior to a formal interview. Selected applicants will be required to be fingerprinted; drugs tested and undergo a thorough FAA and law enforcement background check. Candidates are expected to have some other non-aviation life experiences and education, possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and demonstrate an understanding of the importance of team work.
