What You Will Do: Required to obtain type rating on company aircraft requiring type rating within one year of employment Required to complete annual ground/simulator recurrent training for each type of company aircraft in accordance with FAR 61.58 Required to remain current with respect to FAR 61 Required to pass Class I or Class II physical annually Flight crewmembers are on call from 6 am to 6 pm and weekend standby, as assigned, unless sick, on vacation, or otherwise released from duty Travel on overnight trips may be required Additional (non-flying) duties may be assigned by the Professional Standards Pilot Safely operates company aircraft as evidenced by applicable FAA certificates and successful completion of recurrent training Maintains a high level of professional skill and technical knowledge of aircraft systems Assumes the role of pilot Second in Command as required on company aircraft Responsible for all pre-flight planning and preparation necessary to guarantee the safe outcome of the flight This includes preparation of weight and balance data, performance computations, fuel planning, and route planning, landing permits, selection of appropriate destination and alternate airports, and filing of all required flight plans Makes final determination as to the airworthiness of the aircraft, and exercise final authority for dispatch and conduct of the flight in accordance with FAR 91.3(a) Maintains frequent, regular contact with Flight Department office, as well as the Flight Coordinator/Scheduler to respond to changes that may occur in the schedule Coordinates and supervises all approved maintenance performed while away from home base Ensures the accurate completion of forms necessary for the collection of aircraft and crew member data Complies with all applicable FAR\'s, FAA-approved Aircraft Flight Manual operating procedures and the contents of the [redacted] Flight Operations Manual Acquires and maintains a working knowledge of current office phone systems, computers, and software and ground support equipment necessary to perform crewmember duties on company aircraft Assumes the role of onsite lead for ERP if assigned What We Are Looking For: Knowledge of Bombardier Challenger 600 series aircraft and type rating Knowledge of aircraft purchasing College education preferred Required to obtain type rating on company aircraft requiring type rating within of employment Required to complete annual ground/simulator recurrent training for each type of company aircraft in accordance with FAR 61 Required to remain current with respect to FAR 61 Required to successfully complete [redacted] line training Required to pass Class I Medical Flight crew members are on call unless sick, on vacation or otherwise released from duty Travel on overnight trips may be required Additional duties may be assigned by Flight Services Director (FDS) or Aviation Department Manager (ADM) Performs additional duties as outlined in the [redacted] Flight Operations Manual What’s In It For You: Competitive Benefits, Pay, and Bonus Potential Volunteer opportunities: Get involved and give back to the community!
