The mission of the [Company] Aviation Department is to provide safe, reliable, high quality, and cost effective air transportation services.
Ensures that the aircraft is airworthy and registered, and all required documentation is on board the aircraft
Checks weather and all applicable NOTAMs where available, and determines fuel, oil, and oxygen requirements
Determines the aircraft weight and balance
Ensures databases are current
Ensures iPads are updated and adequately charged for the assigned flight
Ensures that all flight planning requirements have been met and reviews the Risk Assessment for all legs prior to the first flight of the day
Ensures that aircraft crew members have valid certificates, medical certificates, passports and visas, when required
Ensures that the flight will not be commenced if a crewmember is incapacitated from performing duties by any cause such as injury, sickness, fatigue, or the effects of any psychoactive substance
Ensures that the flight will not be continued beyond the nearest suitable airport when a crewmember’s capacity to perform functions is significantly reduced by impairment of faculties from causes such as fatigue, sickness, or lack of oxygen
Confirms any nonstandard environmental rules and procedures at the intended departure and destination airports
Completes an aircraft preflight inspection before each departure
Provides the Passenger Safety Briefing to the passengers;
Ensures that the listed passengers are onboard and notifies the Dispatcher of any change in passenger status or destination, via email, prior to departure
Operates the aircraft per the [Company] Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists, and within aircraft limitations
Continually monitors the amount of usable fuel to ensure a safe landing with appropriate fuel reserves and communicates with ATC during abnormal situations
Ensures compliance with customs, immigration, and cabotage laws
Completes all post flight duties, including notifying the company of deviations to any planned itinerary, schedule, or overnight location
Records flight times and aircraft defects
Reports all known or suspected FAA violations or incidents to the Chief Pilot as soon as practical
Assumes any duties delegated by the Chief Pilot.
Requires a minimum of 5,000 hours of flight experience which a minimum of 3,000 flight hours were as Pilot in Command.
Possess a satisfactory history of extensive and current worldwide international operations preferred
Proven understanding of safety equipment and the proper use
Typed in Falcon 900LX Easy or Challenger 350/3500 and international captain in preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to pass a required 10-year work history review
Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to handle interruptions in a face paced environment; maintain strong attention to detail. Be self-motivated and able to motivate others.

This position requires a bachelor's degree
Possesses current airline transport certificate with necessary type ratings
Hold an appropriate 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate (within 6 months since latest exam)
Hold a valid aeronautical radiotelephone license for International Operations
Hold a valid and current passport
CPR and First Aid Certification required
