[Company] is seeking a Captain for a Gulfstream 550 based in TEB

Job Description:

PIC operates the aircraft Gulfstream 550 in a Part 91 operation. The position will serve to insure the airworthiness and safe operation of the aircraft. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

The PIC assists the Lead Captain in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight; maintains a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the Pilot-In-Command; assumes PIC duties, including control of the flight, participates in the Safety Management System.  The Second-in-Command flies the aircraft per the directions of the PIC; performs takeoffs and landings under the authority of the PIC; assumes any duties delegated by the Director of Aviation and/or PIC.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

• Reside or be willing to relocate to within 2 hours of TEB

• Holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating and type rated in the G450/G550 aircraft

• Possess a First-Class FAA Medical Certificate

• Has at minimum 2,500 hours flight time, 1,000 hours PIC, and 500 hours in jet aircraft and 500 hours minimum in a G450/G550 aircraft

• Recent experience with North Atlantic Flight Operations including CPDLC usage for Gulfstream 550

• International Procedures within 24-month currency

• Valid passport with no restrictions

• Valid driver’s license

• No FAA violations or enforcements

• English proficient

• Must be able to handle job duties with discretion and sensitivity to company and client information

• Must be service orientated with a neat well-groomed appearance

• Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking abilities

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds over their heads

• Must be able to work varying hours including day and night, weekday, weekends, and holidays

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Must provide (3) three references
