About the Opportunity
An established Part 91 management and Part 135 charter operator in the Chicago metropolitan area is seeking an experienced Captain for a Citation 680 series aircraft. The company prioritizes operational excellence and crew quality of life—aircraft do not float. All operations originate and terminate out of the primary base airport in the northern Chicago suburbs.
Position Overview
We are recruiting a qualified Citation CE680 Captain who brings strong corporate aviation experience, exceptional professional standards, and a commitment to safe, customer-focused flight operations.
Location Requirement: Applicants must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Chicago-area base airport or be willing to relocate prior to starting.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Flight Experience: Prior corporate flight department experience required.
Certificates & Ratings:
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with an unrestricted CE680 Type Rating.
Fully qualified for ICAO international Commercial Pilot-in-Command (PIC) requirements without limitation.
Medical & Documentation:
Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate (unrestricted).
Valid U.S. Passport (unrestricted).
Language: Fluent spoken and written English.
Safety Record: Clean safety record with no accidents, incidents, license suspensions, or revocations within the past 5 years.
Training: A training contract is required for applicable simulator training.
Schedule & Quality of Life
Base Operations: Home-based model with no floating; trips originate and finish at the home base airport.
Hard Days Off: Weekends are designated as hard days off (bonus pay applies if requested to fly).
