Vice President Airport Operations: (Miramar, FL) Lead Airline’s Critical Airport Operations Group to ensure delivery of safe, reliable, efficient, customer focused, and cost effective airport service and ground operations. Spearhead the development of the Airport Operations Group’s vision, strategic plans and tactical initiatives during rapid network growth. Achieve and maintain an in-depth understanding of all division cost drivers and lead the organization in building and managing operating and capital budgets. Build and manage an aggressive budget, lowering unit costs while growing productivity. Lead cost containment initiatives and ensure daily focus of team members on aggressive cost reduction and develop tools to aid frontline and regional managers in growing labor productivity. Responsible for delivering continuous innovation through product and technological change management to provide increased customer satisfaction within the airport experience. Ensure clear customer communication of company policies through all airport channels. Achieve compliance with FAA, DOT, TSA, CBP and Airport regulations. Effectively lead and grow cross departmental teamwork. Develop and communicate vision for the airport operations group, with clear expectations for strategic and tactical execution. Develop productive relationships with peer division heads to remove barriers to cross functional initiative. Grow the network with stability while managing a rapidly expanding airport operation through organic same city growth and new station openings. Requires knowledge of FAA, DOT, TSA, CBP policies and regulations. Requires a Master’s of Business Administration degree, or foreign equivalent, and 2 years experience.
