Position: Phenom 300 Captain (Home-Based Round-Trip Operation)
Company: [Company]
Base: Scottsdale, Arizona - Must live in base or be able to move.
Type of Operation: Part 91/135 – Three-Pilot Crew
About the Operation
This is a full-time Phenom 300 Captain position on a managed aircraft with supplemental charter. The aircraft is staffed with a dedicated three-pilot crew to support schedule coverage, training, and time off.
We quote and operate round-trip from the home base, not as a floating fleet. In practical terms, that means:
- You are home most nights
- Overnights are planned, not open-ended
- Trips are scheduled with the home base as the default start and end point
We’re looking for a captain who is already flying professionally, is current in type, and wants a stable, owner-focused operation with predictable patterns.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary (commensurate with experience; discussed directly with candidates)
- Health insurance: 100% of employee premium covered; family/dependents can be added at a modest additional cost
- Paid time off
- Paid recurrent training in type
- Company-provided iPad/EFB and standard cockpit tools
- Stable, year-round flying on a single aircraft with a known owner/passenger base
- Dedicated three-pilot crew structure for better schedule coverage and time off
- Work for a well respected company
Schedule / Quality of Life
- Primarily home-based, round-trip flying from KSDL
- Mix of owner and charter flying
- Overnights based on trip profile; no indefinite “on the road” tours
- Duty and rest managed to standard industry practices and regulatory requirements
- Part of a three-pilot crew, allowing more predictable time off and shared coverage
Minimum Qualifications
- FAA ATP
- Phenom 300 type rating, must be current
- Minimum 500 hours in Phenom 300, this may be reduced depending on additional experience
- Current and valid First-Class Medical
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Valid passport, able to travel internationally without restriction
- No significant training failures or checkride issues that cannot be explained
Preferred Experience
- Recent PIC time in turbine aircraft
- Recent Part 91K or 135 experience
- Stable, progressive employment history in professional aviation
- Strong customer-service mindset with owner/charter clientele
- Is actively flying as a professional pilot now, or has been flying professionally within the last 12 months
- Treats the aircraft like their own and manages it with an owner-mindset
- Communicates clearly and professionally with owners, charter, maintenance, and dispatch
- Is comfortable in a small-team, three-pilot environment where reliability and follow-through matter
