Purpose of Position The Safety Assurance Manager manages the [redacted] Ground Safety Programs including the identification of trends, hazard mitigation procedures and oversight of safety programs such as the Safety Management System (SMS), Emergency Response Plan (ERP), the Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery plan, and other safety programs assigned. Recommends best practices for implementation throughout [redacted] Aviation operations and Physical Safety and will collaborate and partner with leaders to identify and implement these best practices while leveraging cross company synergy and common operating processes. Collaborates with NetJets Inc. to ensure alignment and complaince with NetJets Inc. policies as appropriate. Tasks and Responsibilities Administration the [redacted] Safety Management System (SMS) and Safety reorting. Under the direction of the Director, Safety Assurance, coordinates the development and analysis of relevant ground safety related metrics to identify treds and safeyprogram enhancement oportunities. Oversee the revision and distribution of department manuals. Assists in investigation to determine root cause and make recommendations for repetition prevenstion. Resonsible for the implementation and management of [redacted] Safety Dana Management System (SDMS.) Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Provides support in developing, establishing, and maintaining the [redacted] Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery program to include goverance, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Stays up to date on the latest Business Continuty and Disaster Recovery trends, new items, and communicates new findings with other team members. Provide support in partnering with [redacted] departments, NetJets Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery team members, and NetJets IT teams to create and develop Disaster Recovery plans to eliminate and reduce identified gaps. Responsible for implemenation and continuous management of the VEOCI program. Assist in tracking and reporting the development and maintenance of business and technology recovery plans in partnership with [redacted] business area management and subject matter experts (SME). Assist in documenting, training and awareness to the [redacted] business and NetJets IT teams addressing business continuity roles, actions and responsibilties. Assist in designing, planning, organizing, and conducting controlled exercises/tests on all plans and critical applications. Analyze and report results. Assist in developing and maintaining Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery standards, procedures, and guidelines for [redacted] and supporting corporate groups. Administration of the [redacted] Environmental Health & Safety programs. Ensures compliance with applicable OSHA and HazMat regulations. Provides Safety management and oversees all related on-location safety aspects for [redacted] Special Events. Ensures compliance with applicable [redacted], OSHA and HazMat requirements. Provide support to HR with industrial safety investigations, reporting and safety data management as required by OSHA and Bureau of Worker Compensation regulations. Analyze the impact to Company operations of proposed, new or revised regulations, specifications, or technical requirements. Recommend or develop means for compliance. Recommend technology solutions and process improvements that enhance safety, compliance, customer service and/or efficiency operations. Education Bachelor\'s in Aviation or Business Administration Certifications and Licenses Pilot license (CPL or ATPL) Dispatcher license FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Years of Experience 4-6 years of experience Core Competencies Attitude Communication & Listening Skills Initiative Interest in Company & Position Knowledge of Specific Job Skills Related Education or Training Related Job Experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs) 1 + years in an aviation management position (maintenance, dispatch, scheduling, in-flight), or serve as a line pilot, with a certified air carrier (91K, 135 or 121). Working knowledge of on-demand or fractional aviation program’s operations, regulations, FAA specifications and technical requirements. Working knowledge of ATOS, system safety concepts and safety management systems. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage multiple work groups and projects. Working knowledge of auditing principles, standards, and practices. Experience with root-cause analysis and process development. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities PC Skills including: MS office Suite (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) Excellent written and oral communication skills.
