Cabin Crew
Overview of Role
The cabin crew position with [Company] is integral to the success of our operation and is a very unique position as many of the aircraft types we utilise require single crew. We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate an ability to work independently and are self-motivated.
The main priority of our cabin crew is always managing the safety of the passengers in and around the cabin. You will be responsible for helping the customers during boarding and ensuring their comfort whilst travelling. This included but is not limited to carrying out safety demonstrations and security checking the cabin.
As an ambassador for [Company], excellent uniform standards and customer service skills are necessary, with communication, a welcoming and positive attitude is a must. We are looking for individuals who are focused, dedicated and passionate about providing our passengers with a fantastic flight experience.
No two days with [Company] are the same and we do require flexibility as your rostered hours will be varied you must be prepared to work shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays and overnights
Key Responsibilities
The main activities that will be carried out but the Cabin Crew include the below. As would be expected the below is not exhaustive and reasonable responsibilities not listed below will be carried out, with training and support provided where required.
• Ensure the safety and security procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.
• Ensure safety knowledge is current and up to date
• Take part in pre flight briefing
• Carries out safety and security duties on board the aircraft
• Maintains required standard in uniform and personal presentation
• Ensure the inflight service is delivered to company standards
• Ensures a high level of customer care is delivered at all times to our customers
• Works with the pilots as part of the team on board the aircraft
• Contributes to On Time Performance
Skills and Knowledge
• Sound knowledge of the cabin crew operational environment and standards.
• Knowledge of the relevant part of the UK CAA Reg Law
• Excellent communicator
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Skills to deliver a high level of Customer Care
• Able to swim
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and effective communication skills when interacting with passengers and crew members.
Attitude
All Cabin Crew will develop positive constructive working relationships with manager, demonstrating personal competence, reliability and being a valued member of the wider company team.
Training and Experience
• Experience within an airline environment.
• Current and valid passport
• Travel and Tourism Qualification would be beneficial
• Demonstration of fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Hold a UK Cabin Crew Medical.
• Previous experience within a customer service setting, preferably fast paced.
• Previous experience working independently.
• Previous experience of working autonomously.
Essential Criteria – (Due to Aircraft Safety Regulations)
• At least 18 years of age.
• Height between 5’2” and 5’11”.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Able to swim unassisted at least 25 meters.
• Able to pass a medical carried out by an CAA approved AME.
• Hold the legal right to live and work in the UK.
• Be able to provide a clear disclosure certificate and references for the last 5 years.
• Live within or willing to relocate to within 60 mins of you base airport.
