Role Description The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft on scheduled and unscheduled flights. This full-time, on-site role based in Carolina includes pre-flight planning, weather and route analysis, fuel calculations, and performance assessments. The Pilot in Command conducts thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, manages in-flight navigation and communication, and ensures compliance with all regulatory and company procedures. The Pilot in Command also participates in recurrent training, safety programs, and operational debriefs to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial or airline transport pilot license with appropriate ratings for the aircraft operated; current medical certificate meeting regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrated experience as Pilot in Command, including flight planning, navigation, and adherence to aviation regulations and standard operating procedures.

• Strong safety mindset, risk assessment abilities, and situational awareness in varied weather and operational conditions.

• Effective communication and leadership skills to coordinate with flight crew, ground staff, air traffic control, and passengers.

• Ability to manage workload, remain calm under pressure, and make sound decisions in routine and non-routine situations.

• Proficiency with modern cockpit systems, avionics, and flight management tools; comfort with operational documentation and reporting.

• Willingness to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required by flight operations.

• Experience in regional or charter operations and familiarity with Caribbean airspace and regional airports is a plus.
