About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hawker 800XP Captain to join our growing team based in Scottsdale, AZ. This position plays a critical role in supporting time-sensitive organ procurement operations, transporting surgical teams and medical equipment across the country.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a mission-driven operation where reliability, professionalism, and safety are paramount. Our flights frequently operate on short notice and often occur during late-night and early-morning hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate the Hawker 800XP under FAR Part 135 regulations
• Conduct domestic flights in support of organ procurement missions
• Transport surgical teams and critical medical equipment efficiently and professionally
• Maintain strict adherence to company SOPs and safety standards
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and medical flight teams to ensure mission success
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation
Schedule & Work Environment
• 10 hard days off per month
• On-call environment with a 2-hour wheels-up expectation
• Operations frequently occur during overnight and early morning hours
• High percentage of flying returns to base
Base Requirement
This position is based in Scottsdale, AZ (KSDL). Applicants must reside within or be willing to relocate to within one hour of the airport.
Minimum Qualifications
• 3,000+ hours total flight time
• Multi-engine experience preferred
• Prior Part 135 experience preferred
• HS-125 type rating preferred, but candidates with comparable aircraft experience will be considered
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to perform in time-sensitive environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
