Description
Captain - Corporate Pilot – Brand New Dassault Falcon 2000S
Heartland Dental is seeking a new Captain to add to our professional corporate aviation team! As Pilots in Command, we are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Heartland Dental aircraft while in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations, rules, directives, aircraft flight manuals and company procedures and policies. We are ultimately responsible for the well-being of the passengers and aircraft.
We’re searching for Captain who believes safety and service come first! The ideal candidate is looking for a lifelong career with Heartland Dental and a desire to grow in leadership, with aspirations to become the Chief Pilot & Director of Aviation. On our team, you could expect to fly 275-350 hours, with 80-120 overnights per year. A seasoned aviation professional with at least 5,000 hours would make a great addition to our team.
About the Team
Our Flight Department is a small and easy-going team, each pilot with 10-25 years with Heartland Dental. Much like Heartland Dental, our people is what set us apart. We feed off one another’s company, as we’re a fun and social team – finding opportunities to dine together and share in fun activities while we are on the road. Everyone is a team player, pitching in where needed, to help our team and our company be at our best. We take our work seriously, but we do so as a team.
About the Aircraft
We are looking forward to taking delivery of our newest jet, a Dassault Falcon 2000S. It features the latest and greatest comforts for passengers and has superior safety features and state of the art avionics that our pilots deserve. The new Falcon features virtual vision displayed on the screens, providing better situational awareness.
The cabin will have the fastest WiFi available and superior soundproofing. The app-based entertainment systems can easily be controlled right from a smartphone. But the comfort isn’t just for the passengers, as the pilots will enjoy a much more comfortable cockpit.
With leading edge slats that extend the full length of the wing and more powerful engines, the jet doesn’t need as much runway as our current aircraft.
The new aircraft speaks to our flight department’s mission, where safety comes first, followed by comfort and efficiency. And as the Chief Pilot shared, “To put it bluntly, this jet is a pilot’s dream!”
