Inflight Services The Inflight Services department includes flight attendants and the teams that support them. Job overview and responsibilities The Inflight Supervisor - SOC provides oversight and management of Inflight Services related activity within local SOC, proactively monitors departures, crew movement and quick turns to achieve optium operational performance, and supports United\'s core values through critical decision-making. Serves as the Inflight point of contact in the SOC and acts as an integral part of the local operation while working with all other operational stakeholders Provide consistent communication and operational updates to local base, along with other departments, service providers and external agencies Established point of contact for Inflight Duty Manager at CSC Identify, preplan and manage all irregularities such as cancelled flights, gate changes, quick turns, medical or safety emergencies and staffing issues Monitor and track local and down line delays Provide feedback and trend analysis on operational performance and research delays to identify root cause Identify changes required to prevent future delays Develop and support standard work and continuous improvement processes Required Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent work experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective planning and organizational skills Ability to work in harmony with other team members across the station to create a collaborative work environment Knowledge of software (Windows Outlook, Excel, Word) 1-3 years hub operational experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Equal Opportunity Employer – Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT Division: 64 Inflight Function: Flight Ops / Inflight - Management & Administrative Equal Opportunity Employer – Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
