At [redacted], the Chief Pilot leads our talented team of Certified Flight Instructors in all aspects of flight operations to ensure compliance with Part 141 regulations. Duties Work with the Assistant Chief Pilot, General Manager and Office Manager to support, mentor and manage CFIs to ensure compliance with all FAA regulations, as well as [redacted] Inc.’s safety and customer service standards Ensure all course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by all Students as stipulated in the applicable training course syllabus Coordinate with Assistant Chief Pilot to complete Part 61/ Part 141 Stage Checks Coordinate with Assistant Chief Pilot to complete Staff Proficiency Checks Manage the hiring process for new CFIs by interviewing prospective candidates alongside the Assistant Chief Pilot, General Manager or Office Manager Manage the CFI onboarding process and complete required CFI checkouts/ training Ensure all CFI personal documents and licenses are up to date and uploaded/ completed in Flight Schedule Pro Ensure all CFls maintain company expectations in regard to dress code, behavior, and scheduling Attend monthly Chief Pilot meetings with CCBC and other partners Assist the Assistant Chief Pilot and Office Manager in the planning and execution of programs involving personnel, equipment, policies, and procedures required of CFIs Work with Assistant Chief Pilot and General Manager on revising Training Course Outlines and Flight Training Syllabi Build and maintain relationships with DPEs Perform other tasks and duties as assigned Requirements Must meet requirements of 14 CFR 141.35 Management experience Schedule flexibility Well organized Ability to multi-task Critical thinking skills Problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience with Cessna 172 Aircraft preferred Experience with Piper Warrior, Archer, Arrow and Seminole Aircraft preferred Experience with Redbird Full motion flight simulator preferred, but not required Location: Beaver County Airport 7 Piper Street, Suite 2 Beaver Falls, PA 15010 mooreaviation.com Job Type: Part-time or Full-time Pay: Negotiable Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: One Location – In Person
