CREW SCHEDULER DUTIES:
Schedule flight crew in compliance with FAA regulations regarding currency and flight/duty time limitations
Adjusting for crews in training, sick, PTO etc., finding replacements and/or scheduling extra days as needed
Coordinate crew changes and crew repositioning
Determine the most efficient way to complete all requested missions with the available crew
Select the crew for flight requests.
Maintain daily crew assignments, check-in records, and crew time records
Identify, anticipate, and take corrective action to minimize potential/actual delays due to crew legality
Coordinate crew availability for maintenance ferry flights/test flights
Ensure all crew logs have been completed daily.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety standards, including complete knowledge of Part 135 regulations.
Communicate changes to the schedule to all appropriate departments in a timely manner
Assist crew with swapping their scheduled days off.
Purchase airline tickets and book hotels, address open items, verify legality of trips and Crewmembers daily.
Monitor, coordinate, and schedule pilot training events and activities
Remain current on available resources and training to facilitate an effective scheduling operation
Perform other duties as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum two years’ prior experience in Part 135 crew scheduling.
Strong personal and work ethics along with a high level of integrity.
Knowledge of FARs in regard to Part 91/135 operations.
Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business.
Must have the ability to work quickly, calmly, and under pressure.
Strong analytical skills along with ability to think outside the box.
Attention to detail.
Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills.
Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools with the aptitude to learn new software.
Prior customer service experience strongly preferred
This role requires flexibility to handle on-call responsibilities, including occasional nights, weekends and holidays, if required.
