Avcenter Inc, We are looking to hire a flight instructor (CFI - CFII). Very busy flight school with students currently on a wait list in both locations. Looking to hire in our Pocatello office and Idaho Falls office. With opportunities to fly right seat on Our B200 King Air, Turbo Commander for our client charter flights. Many opportunities to advance in the company If interested after building flight hours as a instructor. Opportunities include, being a pilot for Avcenter Executive Air Charter business / Air Attack (Fire). Our sister company McCall Aviation, you could become a pilot flying trips in the back country (rafting), (Scenic) flights and hunting trips. Basic Function: The basic function of this position is to provide flight and ground instruction to Avcenter student pilots and renter pilots. Duties & Responsibilities: Establish student’s minimum hour qualifications for training as per insurance and regulatory requirements. Once accepted, evaluate student progress and maintain student records Deliver ground instruction and flight instruction, including pre and post flight briefings Recommend students for flight checks Develop training materials Assure student accounts are paid in full prior to check ride Maintain personal flight logs Coordinate scheduling with maintenance and charter departments Assist other flight instructors as needed Promote Avcenter Flight instruction and rental aircraft Develop and teach ground schools Develop and cultivate student base Performance Measurements Customer satisfaction as evidenced by minimal complaints Number of new student pilots recruited for training in any given calendar quarter Percent of students successful on first flight checks in any given calendar quarter Percentage of active students to total students. Requirements: Certified Flight Instructor by FAA; Knowledge of regulations, aircraft systems, air traffic control and flight maneuvers.
