Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Embraer (EMB) 145 ground school instructor based in Charlotte NC. As a ground school instructor you will be responsible for the safe and efficient training of new hire and current line pilots in both aircraft systems and company policies and procedures. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualifications: Commitment to aviation safety Excellent verbal and written skills Aviation instructional background Team attitude Scheduling flexibility Preferred Qualifications: FAA 121 background with knowledge of AQP training EMB 145 experience In depth knowledge of aircraft systems Instructional developmental background Excellent computer skills Work Environment: Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment Classroom environment, use of whiteboards and other classroom equipment Physical Requirements: Moderate physical activity, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and kneeling Handle objects up to 40 pounds for training demonstrations The above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills required for this position.
