Gulfstream G400 Captain

Operations: Part 91, with potential transition to Part 135

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Gulfstream G400 Captain/Pilot-in-Command to operate a privately managed aircraft for the owner, family, and guests. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced on the G400, capable of assuming the left seat immediately, and committed to providing a professional, polished, and service-oriented flight experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command of the Gulfstream G400.

• Operate the aircraft safely and professionally for private family and guest travel.

• Maintain a high level of readiness during scheduled on-duty periods.

• Provide a respectful, friendly, and discreet passenger experience.

• Support domestic and international travel as required.

• Work collaboratively within a close-knit, family-oriented flight operation.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience flying the Gulfstream G400/G4.

• Meaningful G400 time sufficient to serve confidently as Captain/PIC.

• At least 4,000 hours of total flight time, subject to insurance requirements; substantially more experience is preferred.

• Strong professional background and demonstrated judgment.

• Ability to work a 15-on/15-off schedule.

• Current Part 91 experience; experience applicable to Part 135 operations is a plus.

• Ability to meet applicable insurance, background-check, drug-testing, and other screening requirements.

Location

Candidates located within driving distance of Rockingham, North Carolina are preferred, including candidates near Charlotte, Raleigh, or Fayetteville. Relocation may be considered for an exceptional candidate, with relocation assistance of up to $5,000.

Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time compensation to be determined based on experience, aircraft time, and market conditions.

• Contract-to-hire option available.

• Health insurance available with a 50/50 employer-employee cost share.

• No PTO program currently offered.

• Additional time off may occur during aircraft maintenance periods and when the aircraft is not operating.
