The Captain ensures and is responsible for the safety and efficiency of R&M flights. The Captain collaborates with the Chief Pilot to assist in other duties.

Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation.
Ensure preflight inspections are performed.
Study weather conditions, applicable NOTAMs where available, enroute, alternate airports and departure points and determine fuel oil and oxygen requirements.
Use Checklists and operate aircraft per SOPs and aircraft limitations.
Ensure aircraft is airworthy, registered and required documentation is on-board.
Ensure compliance with customs, immigration and cabotage laws.
Complete post flight duties, including notify R&M of deviations to itinerary or overnight location.
Maintain currency of all aircraft and computer Navdata and Databases.
Prepare flight plans and ensure all flight planning requirements have been met.
Ensure aircraft is clean & prepared with all provisions onboard for passenger safety & comfort.
Review and calculate aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance charts.
Record flight times and aircraft defects. Complete all required aircraft forms, logs, records and reports.
Act as pilot in command (PIC) of flights for which the pilot has been scheduled.
Supervise first officer (SIC) in duties necessary for smooth, safe and efficient operation of aircraft.
Make decisions necessary to start, delay or cancel flights and deviate flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate.
Assume any duties delegated by the Chief Pilot.
Monitor crew performance, share knowledge & evaluate crewmember potential for advancement
Ensure all Checklists and Flight Manuals are current.
Oversee refueling and servicing of the aircraft

Preferably, a Bachelor’s Degree. Education can be substituted with experience or another related degree/license.
Airline Transport Pilot license with multi-engine rating & type rated in appropriate aircraft in which you act as PIC.
First Class FAA medical certificate.
Three to five-5 years turbine aircraft PIC operating experience
Bombardier Learjet 75 (LJ45) Type rating preferred
FAA ATP Certificate
