Description
A private client based in Manhattan is seeking a full-time flight attendant to join their team. The position will entail 6 to 10 days of travel per month, a significant majority of which will be planned in advance. In addition to ensuring the safety and comfort of the passengers, duties will include preparing and serving basic meals, keeping the cabin clean and tidy, running errands to procure grocery or dry goods needed on the ground in the destination cities, and working on a team with the other flight attendant and pilots to meet any other relevant need that might arise. Most trips will be one passenger except for a handful of times throughout the year where there could be 6-8 passengers. The travel is maybe 30%-40% international and the balance is domestic. There are two aircrafts but both are the same type and will depart from either Teterboro or LaGuardia airport.
The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, a keen sense of discretion, and a hospitality-forward attitude. You must have some culinary capability, up-to-date flight attendant certifications, and several years of experience working in a similar role. This person should be polished, friendly, easygoing, and helpful. The principal is a thoughtful employer and competitive benefits will be provided (health insurance, PTO, retirement etc.). The salary range offered is $130,000 to $145,000 per year and the rate will reflect the experience and skill-set of the hired candidate. A COVID vaccine (including booster) is required for the role.
