GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The First Officer position is designated as SIC (second in command) and directly responsible for the Captain during a flight. They will assist the Captain with pre-flight and flight execution, as well as, post-flight mission requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for compliance and all Federal Aviation Regulations, company regulations and scheduling policy applicable to his duties.
• Assist the Captain in safe and efficient conduct of the flight, from flight planning to flight termination.
• Responsible for the proper completion of all mission related paperwork, the control of receipts and other documentation related to the
mission.
• Must be proficient in the duties required and exercises judgement required of a Captain.
• Must follow FAR 135.267 and is jointly responsible for their own flight time, duty time limitations and maintaining qualifications referencing
aircraft and flight physical requirements.
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
• FAA Medical.
• Recent flight experience.
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of regulations.
• Unrestricted Passport.
• FCC Radio License.
• No Violations or FAA actions.
• A valid Airline Transport Pilot certificate with appropriate aircraft type ratings a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Sit without standing for long periods of time in pilot’s seat or assigned jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without any
modifications.
• Adhere to the visual demands set in the medical standards established by the FAA.
• Hear clearly verbal communications in person, on the telephone, and over a headset with ambient aircraft and passenger noise.
• Move about the aircraft and perform all required functions freely, effectively and quickly in confined environment.
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
[Company] is based out of Cartersville, GA. Applicants must live within 60 minutes of physical location. Minimum 750 TT hours and CMELI ratings OR 500 TT hours with a CFI rating. Minimum 100 multi-engine hours and prior Gulfstream III or Learjet experience preferred.
Must have valid US passport, pass a drug and background check and be able to obtain security clearance. International experience preferred, second language valuable also. Duty assignments are multi-week worldwide international deployments.
