We are seeking a dynamic leader to manage our travel team, overseeing high-level corporate arrangements, vendor negotiations, and strict policy compliance. You will act as a vital link to our aviation operations, coordinating complex global crew logistics and real-time travel adjustments in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on driving efficiency through process optimization, financial oversight, and the use of industry-standard systems like Amadeus and Leon.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the Travel Team to ensure operational excellence and a collaborative working environment.
Oversee resource allocation, departmental planning, and roster management.
Maintain strong communication and service standards across all internal departments.
Travel Operations & Service Delivery
Manage all aspects of travel arrangements for corporate clients, and staff, ensuring the highest levels of service.
Maintain and negotiate contracts with travel vendors, airlines, hotels, and transport partners.
Ensure compliance with company travel policies, aviation regulations, and industry standards.
Operational Support for Aviation Activities
Work closely with Crew Control and Operations to coordinate global crew positioning and travel logistics.
Monitor, track, and adjust crew travel plans in real time to support changing operational needs.
Ensure accurate data entry and documentation within systems such as Amadeus, Leon, and Centrik.
Process Improvement & Systems Management
Develop, implement, and optimise travel workflows, introducing automation where beneficial.
Create and refine systems that support operational efficiency and revenue streams.
Identify and implement continuous improvements aligned with industry trends.
Client & Crew Support
Provide high-level service to corporate clients, advising on travel options, constraints, visa requirements, and itinerary changes.
Manage booking modifications, cancellations, refunds, and related documentation.
Ensure timely communication regarding travel updates and operational impacts.
Financial & Performance Monitoring
Oversee Travel Department expenditures and provide financial reporting.
Track, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Support administrative processes including payments and accounting entries.
