[redacted] Corp based in Morristown, NJ is looking to hire a qualified and knowledgeable Director of Operations (DO) who is preferably Gulfstream G550 (GV-SP) qualified. Base will be in KILG (Wilmington, DE) (offices are in Morristown, NJ). [redacted] Corp operates under FAR PARTS 91 & 135. We are looking for an individual interested in long term, stable employment. This position requires ability and desire to fly in addition to DO duties and responsibilities. The ability to manage / interact with personnel, manage logistics required for the position, work with regulatory authorities and assume any duties or responsibilities necessary for the position. Personnel looking to fill this DO position would possess an ATP with applicable GV type rating and G550 differences. Applicants would have: prior FAA PART 135 experience, experience suitable to receive FAA approval for the DO position under PART 135 rules, prior management experience with appropriate suitable references. Have a working knowledge / experience required for a global operation as well as ability to operate under an approved and in depth SMS program Responsibilities of this position: Sustain operations under all applicable regulations, obtain required Letters of Authorization (LOA), Operations Specifications (OpSpecs), maintain / update all required manuals / documents, e.g.; GOM, OpSpecs, SMS, etc. required for operations under regulating authorities to include but not limited to; FAA, EASA, UK, ICAO, DHS/TSA, DOT, ETS, etc. Perform required regulatory and internal audits to successful conclusion. Goal for successful candidate would be to fly the line and learn the operation for an approximate 6 month period, while assuming responsibilities of the DO, then fully assume the duties and responsibilities of the Director of Operations.
