Conduct simulator training duties using the ATO’s A220 FSTDs.
Conduct additional training duties as required by the Head of Training (HOT).
Participate in HOT‑designated or HOT‑authorized projects.
Conduct training duties in accordance with the FSI job description.
Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Recommend revisions to SOPs where appropriate.
Assist with preparing courseware and training materials, including theoretical examinations, in compliance with CASA requirements.
Liaise with the Simulator Technical department to ensure simulators are maintained to required training standards.
Monitor client/student progress and develop action plans to support those not meeting required standards.
Promote and support improvements to processes, documentation, courseware, and training materials used by the ATO.
Participate in Progress, Academic & Disciplinary Review Boards and provide recommendations for remedial or disciplinary actions as needed.
Conduct FFS/FTD training sessions in conjunction with office duties when required.
Minimum of 1000 hours pilot‑in‑command (PIC) on a multi‑crew jet transport.
Hold a valid Simulator Instructor Rating, or equivalent rating or certification.
Hold or have held an ICAO‑recognized ATPL/CPL/MPL with minimum ICAO English Level 5.
Previous experience in Airline or ATO training.
Basic IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Previous experience as a TRI/TRE/SFI/FI/DFE.
Knowledge and experience with AQP/EBT/CBTA/IEC methodologies.
Knowledge of civil aviation regulations governing aviation training.
Motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently and deliver results on time—particularly in a remote working environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
Proven leadership experience and effectiveness working in a multi‑cultural environment.
