We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pilot to join our flight department at [Company]. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge regarding the maintenance of aircraft, experience or interest in managing all flight operations, and a commitment to providing the highest level of service. This role will involve operating a Challenger 604 aircraft, supporting the Chief Pilot in all flight operations, and ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers.
Responsibilities
Be the PIC for the Challenger 604 aircraft on domestic and international flights
Assist the other Captain in all flight planning, pre-flight inspections, and in-flight operations
Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft
Maintain accurate flight logs and other required documentation
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (FAA, ICAO, etc.).
Assist with aircraft maintenance and scheduling
Provide excellent customer service to passengers, anticipating their needs and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable flight experience
Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
Participate in recurrent training and professional development programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) and Type Rating in Challenger 604
Meet Pilot in Command qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of pilot experience required
5 years of experience as a pilot on a similar-sized business jet, preferably the Challenger 604
Must be seeking long-term employment with interest in becoming Chief Pilot in the next 1-2 years
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and international flight operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen
Valid passport and the ability to obtain necessary visas for international travel
